Classification and principles of UV ink

UV Ink is an economical and efficient ink, which has covered all printing fields at present. However, due to its higher price than solvent-based ink, it is generally used in high-grade prints. The varieties of UV ink include UV grinding, UV freezing, UV foaming, UV wrinkling, UV lettering, UV refraction, UV embellishment, UV light fixation and UV glazing. On the glossy printing surface of metal mirror, the drying equipment printed with UV ink is processed with UV light by screen printing technology, which produces a unique visual effect, which is elegant, solemn and luxurious. It is mainly used for the packaging and printing of middle and high-grade elegant and chic cigarettes, wine, cosmetics, health care products, food and medicine.

Classification of UV ink:
1. Classification of printing technology
Uv Offset Printing Ink, Uv Screen Printing Ink, UV pad Printing Ink, UV water-based inkjet ink.
2. Classification of application fields
UV iron printing ink, UV metallic ink, Uv Glass Ink, UV Plastic Ink, UV circuit printing ink, UV photosensitive ink.
3, Artistic effect ink

Due to the quick-drying curing characteristics of UV ink, the ink can show a unique texture effect on the printed matter, which is not available in other curing methods. Foaming ink, icing ink, hammer ink, crack ink, crystal ink, varnish, wrinkle ink, etc.

The principle of UV ink:
UV ink has the characteristic of selective absorption of UV light. Drying is affected by the total energy radiated by UV light source and the energy distribution of light with different wavelengths. Under the irradiation of UV light, the photopolymerization initiator of UV ink absorbs photons with a certain wavelength and excites them into excited states to form free radicals or ions. Then, through intermolecular energy transfer, the polymerized prepolymer and photosensitive monomer and polymer become excited States, resulting in a charge transfer complex. These complex particles are continuously crosslinked and polymerized and solidified into films.
